    Description

6 Antique 1795-1811 English Sterling Silver Dinner Forks w/ Gold Wash
Presented is a nice set of six antique English sterling silver dinner forks. These forks have a gold wash throughout. On the front handle of five of the forks is a lion with an ax engraved. The sixth fork has a lion on the back of the handle. These forks are a nice size. Let the photos be your guide.
These pieces are fully hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the crowned leopard for London, the duty mark for King George III, the date letter “t” corresponding to the year 1795 for 5 of the forks and the date letter “Q” corresponding to the year 1811 for the sixth fork, and the maker's mark WE,WF, and WC for William Eley, William Fearn, and William Chawner and the other makers mark is hard to read as it is over stamped.
These forks are in good condition. There are no repairs, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no problems.
